I wrote this message and sent it by e-mail after several people speaking at the National Conference on Media Reform urged people to contact Kofi Annan of the United Nations on the subject of RFPI’s eviction by a UN university.

Subject: Radio for Peace International

Dear UN Secretary General Kofi Annan,

Protect Radio for Peace International from the attacks on it by the UN's own University for peace in Costa Rica. If the UN leadership can't show some support for - and effectively protect - voices for peace in its own organization, it can't be taken seriously on the world stage. Call off the university president, and sustain the invaluable shortwave station that is RFPI.
