I'm not sure I believe in types of music, but people always what types of music I like, so: blues folk funk rock punk jazz classical country oldies ragtime ska soul and I am sure plenty more.

Songs that raise the hair on the back of my neck (this is a good feeling) include For What It’s Worth by Buffalo Springfield, Hurricane by Bob Dylan (just about all 8 and a half minutes when I’m listening to the words) Day Is Done by Peter Paul & Mary, River of Dreams by Billy Joel, and, so help me, The Mighty Quinn by The Hollies.


Here are some of my hallmate Brian Corbin's MIDIs - ones that he composed himself. They are best described as theme music for fantasy computer games.
