You only have to reach 99 people.

Well, once there are three million of us in the United States, and sixty million in the world. Us, in this case, meaning people who care enough about making things better to regularly, personally bring news and information about making things better to ninety-nine other people.

That is the larger us, because pretty much every person has something they would work to make better when given sufficient means, motive, and opportunity.

What's important for a given day (and this would not be daily, but weekly or monthly to start) would be decided democratically, by poll vote, ahead of time.

As the number of hard-core vision sharers increases above one percent, the number of people we each have to reach will fall too, and the frequency and quality can increase.

For the Visions Unite or PWGD signup:

Do you commit to reaching 99 people in your community, whom have not already been reached?

And if you can only commit to reaching ten, you getting us ten percent of a PWGD closer to critical mass.

Taking it local: I need to identify 320 people who give a damn in Natick to do this here. Each person would need to have ... hmm ... 50 hours a round to spend a half hour getting to and talking to each person. We'll have to plan it really well geographically and keep the actual information needing to be delivered under 5 minutes to cut that in half with 15 minutes a person. Granted with families it doesn't mean 99 individual contacts, but perhaps 50 and paper left behind would count. Fifty visits times jut fifteen minutes apiece (including travel time) is still twelve and a half hours a round of communication. And catching people at home will be very difficult. The point is that you are not trying to hit a hundred houses or more once in four years for an election campaign, maybe in some other town or state, but you are developing a relationship with fewer than one hundred people in your neighborhood.

We need to develop what we want to say at the same time as developing the communications network, or it'll seem sort of pointless sometimes.

But the power.

Barack Obama doesn't reach everyone every day. No newspaper, no television station, no media empire reaches everyone every day. Nor every month.

We, the people, organized and disciplined, could reach everyone every month, and ultimately every day.
