Wisconsin IWW calls for a general strike.

I think more often where we need to start, given what we have to work with, is a targeted strike.

Instead of bringing the entire economy to a hold, how can we disproportionately reduce the revenue and profits of our most reactionary opponents?

Strike may not always be the best tactic in this overall strategy, but in situations where a general strike does not have enough support, a targeted strike may succeed. A general strike risks further turning a majority against our organizing, if it is hurting people's ability to make a livelihood and it is not widespread enough to begin the revolutionary process of providing for our own needs. A targeted strike, as part of a widespread education campaign, may have more sustained support. "We are targeting Koch Industries because they are subverting our democracy, trashing our environment, and generally trying to suck our economy dry and leave us with the bill.

We will have informational picket lines at stores that sell their products, strike funds and full solidarity for their employees if they can be convinced to strike, and economic non-cooperation with all their endeavors. (This may include the unconscionably illegal so-called secondary boycott.)
