In loving, living memory, John Melançon 1928 – 2007
So the dollar and much of the U.S. economy is screwed, and I don't even know what my Pax World Balanced Fund Roth IRA that I put money into each year puts that money into.
I searched for "invest in Venezuela," "socially responsible foreign investment," "Latin America SRI" and such, without much effect.
Found a Boston Globe article with some advice.
SRI Advisor, mostly microlending groups.
Given the lack of time (and ultimately interest) to do more research, I guess I'll go with the rather expensive (1.6% of assets and probably more soon) Domini EuroPacific Fund.
Going to have to overnight it.
Seems to me I should be investing in some revolutionary group, local food, etc but I don't seem to have the contacts nor the people who give a damn network, so here's my personal safety net so I can concentrate on what we need for everyone, which will drive any investment down into the lower single digits.
