Best question ever:

how much can board members donate? If they can donate to their own charity their the board member of? And, how often can they donate? What's the limit of the donation?

That was in response to my statement (while announcing the intention to go forward with EVNN with Knight funding or not) that "I will be adding to all donations the legal maximum one person can donate, which I think means I can add 50% to everything donated, for as long as my money holds out."

The formula is not straightforward if I recall but I thought it comes out to a single person being able to contribute something like a third of all donations to a 501c3 (public charity) nonprofit.

The true answer will lie somewhere whithin "IRS Completed 2008 Form 990 Instructions and Background Documents" but I haven't found it yet.
